Weather or Not
It is that time of the year . . . fall in Alaska. The clouds open up and drench us one minute, then part and clear off the next leaving gorgeous blue sky, dotted with fluffy clouds. The ground underfoot is dappled with yellow birch leaves and there are worms in the puddles (much to the delight of my three youngest grandsons).
Fall also brings thoughts of those long winter nights with projects galore. Fall and winter months are perfect for larger knitted or crochet projects like sweaters and afghans. And, there is nothing better than slipping on a new pair of socks fresh off the needles. Ummmm, toasty!
A friend of mine sent me to a new site today - new to me, that is. Lots of gorgeous felted bag projects can be found at KnitKit. I am quite fond of My Little Companion, Oregon Tote and Simple Flattery.
And, as there is a trip to anchortown coming up in October for hubby’s second eye surgery, I am thinking that a trip to the LYS is definitely in order!
Well, I am off to order my patterns. Have a great weekend, everyone!
