The only good thing about being sick…
…is all the knitting you get to do, guilt free!
Knitting in the doctor’s office… for three hours.
Knitting at the pharmacy… for one hour.
Knitting in bed… for many hours.
Bliss, right?
Well yeah unless your baby has 2 ear infections, 2 pink eyes, and bronchitis AND your 7 year old has bronchitis and the flu and has been throwing up…in the doctor’s office, in the pharmacy, and in bed.
Oh, and I’m sick as well.
Luckily, I have an awesome husband that is willing to come home early to help me after 5 hours of hell and vomit. (Not that you wanted to hear that, but I’m venting, ok?)
AND
Claire was in town today, but I didn’t get to see her and I am so very sad about this.
But on the up-side, the prescriptions, (all 5 of them), only cost about $10 total. Also, I have a great mom-in-law who is so helpful with this stuff. She brought dinner so I didn’t have to worry about it last night. And Josh cooked tonight. So it ain’t all bad!
And even though I only ended up knitting for about 15 minutes all day, I didn’t feel guilty about it. As far as I was concerned, I earned it.
