Snuggle Up

by

When hubby and I arrived home from the big city last Friday, we noted that it apparently had tried to snow sometime overnight. There was not much evidence of the event as far as we could see - until we spotted this:

Apparently there was just enough snow to make a mini-snow dude to sit atop the dumpster and wave at the traffic. ;) Hey - we live in Alaska - we make our own fun. Yes, indeedy.

So - on the knitting front . . . what? did you forget this was a knitting blog? Nah, me, either.

Awhile back I told about my friend traveling with me to the big city for some retail therapy.

To occupy her fingers while I drove and we talked, B brought along her needle basket in hopes of making order out of chaos.

Oh, come on, you can admit it. Your needles sometimes look just like that, don’t they? I know that mine do. I recently did much the same thing - attempted to set all things in order.

My friend succeeded - even if it is only for a moment . . . here was that moment captured for you digitally:

Nicely done, friend.

I received an email from her this morning telling me her progress on her Lucy bag. She’s a bit further along than I am on the bag I am knitting for granddaughter for Christmas. But I will get there soon.

Have a great afternoon everyone.

About Knitting Passion

Is knitting really a passion? On THIS blog it is - for all who come here. Blog entries will be made up of patterns, photos of in-progress or completed work - off the wall discussions about whatever tickles the author's fancy (Survivor Knitting anyone?). This can be as much YOUR blog as it is the current author's. Questions will be entertained and answers sought diligently. Comments are always welcome - and information ALWAYS appreciated. Will there be stories and pictures of the stash of yarn or the duplicated knitting needles? Will there be more off the wall ideas for knitting? Will there be original patterns or freebies cited? Only the dark of night and the author's amount of caffeine or sleep can determine that.

Ready? ONE - TWO - GET SET - KNIT!
