SNB Scarf #1 is done…
… and it looks more like a shawl. Josh says it looks “regal.” I’m thinking of sewing the ends together and using it like some kind of shrug, shoulder-warmer… thing. It’ll probably be a gift for someone… ooh it would go great with a prom dress with similar colors. And my sister has a purse made of the same yarn, so if anyone wants to use it… wink wink…
It’s very frustrating using pictures when I’m not using Windows. I can’t adjust the size on the Mac, so the only way I can make then not flipping huge is to pretend I’m going to email them to myself, then save them from the email message to my desktop, THEN upload them to the site. Darn that fabulous camera!
So, now I’ve started on SNB project #2 - Windy City Scarf.

This image is from the Stitch ‘N Bitch website.
Although instead of the colors asked for, I’m using one of the Lime Green skeins from Mary and a denim blue worsted acrylic from my stash. Should be very pretty. (This scarf will be donated to Stitching for Lyme, so don’t think I’m using that yarn for my own purposes!) Plus I get to use my new size 9 needles! Thanks Holly!
Oh yeah, I also just added another category to the list on the right—> so I’ll be updating posts this week. At least, that’s the plan. If it actually gets done, I’ll be very impressed.
