Patriotic Wool - on the hoof
the following article is written by BARBARA WATERS - not the person to whom it will be attributed over at technorati - she (K A) is the FORMER writer of this blog - not the current writer (moi) - thanks, any who might have gotten here through the tags. I appreciate your support and understanding.

I can’t really say that I have been a slug today - although I only left my house in order to pick up the paper from the front yard. I’ve actually gotten a lot accomplished. Hubby recently purchased a shredder and I have been weeding through old household files - and have become a shredding queen.
Nothing like watching your life pass right before your eyes!
I opened a cupboard to find cancelled checks dating back to 1978. I think it is safe to toss those now - well, not toss - that’s where the shredder comes in. I’m going through old bills and such - and reliving memories - and shaking my head at some of the purchases we’ve made over the nearly 30 years we’ve lived in this house - in Alaska. Sigh! We could have SOME kinda money if we had saved it instead of buying s.t.u.f.f.
But, back to the title of this post - daughter #1 and her kiddos attended the local 4th of July parade and Lessa (of Watching Survivor and Watching Rachael Ray fame) took some great pictures. I received a call from Lessa about the poor sheep - well, go and take a look at the picture - I’ll wait here for your return.
Back so soon?
This is what someone did to their 4-H sheep for the parade - sheared star and stripes into its wool. It’s a very patriotic sheep - I actually think it’s kinda cool.
And, the sheep probably thinks it’s cool in a few areas, too.
Hope you all had a wonderful holiday. My hand to my heart and my hat is off to those who have fought to make us free and to those who are fighting to KEEP us free.
‘night everyone.
