My madness is taking over the living room!
I love my husband. He is so patient with my obsession. He doesn’t complain about the knitting needles all over the bed (when I was cataloging and organizing them last night), he doesn’t roll his eyes when I come home with yet MORE yarn, and he doesn’t whine about the half finished (or barely started) projects all over the house.
Even though he is practically impossible to knit for, (”I’m just not a sweater person.”), he almost always asks “So what are you working on now?” when he sees me knitting.
Awww, how sweet!
That being said, have you seen what is happening to the back of my couch? From left to right is the newest sock yarn for the Missionaries’ ties, my first sock yarn project (Marie’s socks), the black worsted and needles left over from the SNB scarf #1, and finally, Claire’s 2nd sock, which actually doesn’t match the first one because I used a different pattern. (Don’t worry, Claire, they’ll both match when I’m done.)
You don’t even see SNB scarf #2 on the floor, 2 knitting books on the arm, extra yarn on the cushion… it’s really getting out of control.
And Josh hasn’t said a thing. He does seem to understand, after all!
