Illness makes for great knitting, but poor blogging.

by Keri the Sheep

Well, seeing as how I’ve had 15 downloads of my podcast…

Apparently there are some readers out there, so here’s the update.

Between Kyle and Marie, all of February was taken up with antibiotics, refilling humidifiers, and doses of decongestant. Kyle ended up having pneumonia.

So my blog wasn’t exactly high on my list of priorities.

The big wigs want me to let them know when I’m not going to be blogging, so that they can have a staffer “fill in” but to be completely honest, the idea of someone else writing on *My Site* was terribly depressing. I didn’t do it. And I may have to pay consequences. Oh. Well.

I have SO much to say, right now. And if the baby permits me, I will be saying it over the next few days. It was a big leap for me to get back on the wagon today, and I hope I can continue. So we will have to see how it goes.

I am working on another podcast, but I really have no idea what it’s going to be about. So I guess we’ll just have to see.

We’ve all been sick here too. Can’t wait for summer to get here! Hope your little ones are all better soon!

  2. Keri the Sheep Says:

    Thanks! You too!

  3. kisten Says:

Sorry to hear that they were sick so much. Hope school is going ok for Kyle. I thought of you yesterday when my office chair broke. LOL that is weird. good to see you back on the wagon. See ya later.

  4. Deanna Says:

    Keri-
Next time you can’t keep up I might be able to write a guest post for you. I’m a beginning knitter but I’m sure I could come up with something interesting to write about. Let me know if you ever want some help! :)

  5. Liz Says:

Oh no! I’m sorry everyone’s been sick.

(Also, and this is just a suggestion–I’m not trying to take over your blog in any way, and my own 451 blog keeps me plenty busy–I’m an active knitter, and I’d be willing to be a fill-in blogger occasionally if you need it!)

    Hope you’re all feeling better!

About Knitting Passion

Is knitting really a passion? On THIS blog it is - for all who come here. Blog entries will be made up of patterns, photos of in-progress or completed work - off the wall discussions about whatever tickles the author's fancy (Survivor Knitting anyone?). This can be as much YOUR blog as it is the current author's. Questions will be entertained and answers sought diligently. Comments are always welcome - and information ALWAYS appreciated. Will there be stories and pictures of the stash of yarn or the duplicated knitting needles? Will there be more off the wall ideas for knitting? Will there be original patterns or freebies cited? Only the dark of night and the author's amount of caffeine or sleep can determine that.

Ready? ONE - TWO - GET SET - KNIT!
