Holey Needle Gauges, Batman!
This lovely little thing arrived in my mail box today, thanks to a friend from ravelry. At the beginning of February I posted on the Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) board that I would like to get the address of the folks who sell this needle gauge. Several folks emailed me with the address of the online store where I could find it.
One . . . M. from Texas, went one step further . . . she offered to purchase the pendant and have it shipped to me. How very nice is that!
She sent me the shipping info . . . it was made out properly - would be shipped directly to me.
Then a few days ago I got a message from her . . . the company (someone, who knows?) had somehow shipped it directly to HER address. 
So, she popped it into an envelope and sent it off to me. And, it arrived in today’s mail.
I am blessed with the friends I have met through ravelry . . . indeed, I’ve been blessed by the friends I have met all over this great blue ether called the internet.
It IS fun to know . . . that pretty much wherever I go in the US - and a lot of other countries as well - that I could just about call on someone no matter where I ended up. I could call on someone and they would help me.
Just as I would help them.
As much trouble as the internet sometimes brings on us - it brings on a lot of good, too. I’ve seen that . . . I hope you have as well.
