Happy Birthday!

Today is the Alaska State Yarn Council’s first birthday! Happy Birthday to all those who had a part in birthing and raising this youngun.

This week’s Two Sticks column in the Anchorage Daily News tells about ASYC’s beginnings. And, the council’s website tells a lot more about what is coming in the future. I missed the Yarn Expo last year, but am going to mark it on the calendar for this fall. Ooooh - lots and lots of yarn and needles and . . . and . . . and . . . the “world’s fastest crocheter”, Lily Chin! What more could anyone ask?
