Chomp!

CHOMP!!

Above are my girls . . . Lessa on the right wearing Chain Chomp hat, the last of the Christmas hats. Ladybug is on the left - holding up the broken chain from Chomp’s escape.

My family LOVES me . . . that’s why they put up with my eclectic bad self. lol

I think it’s a bit small, but Lessa declares that it is JUST right! And, since it is HER head on which it is sitting . . . I will take her word for it.

After Christmas knitting has slowed a bit, although I did make myself a little sumpin-sumpin from yarn gifted to me by an Indiana raveler I met while on the conference trip in November. It is a luscious and soft purple (yes . . . PURPLE - I like purple!) and will be the next featured pattern and photo.

I really - REALLY - need to start work on next year’s Christmas gifts a bit earlier - okay, a LOT earlier - than I did this year. That last minute of wondering if I was going to get the eyes placed just right? Ack! Do NOT want to go there again.

Of course, I think ALL knitters say something of the sort eventually. We all, sooner or later, find ourselves in the same boat . . . and the only oars anyone thought to bring? KNITTED oars! I guess it would be okay if they were FELTED . . . at least they wouldn’t get any smaller - or soggier - right?

Right.

Did I mention that I have a bit of a crazy sense of humor, too? Oh, you noticed? lol.

In other news . . . Have you checked out Lessa’s Big Brother Craze lately? She writes about BBUK Celebrity season as well as a shout out about bbi2. Whaddayamean you don’t know about bbi1 let alone bbi2???? Get on over there and check it out. You know you wanna.

About Knitting Passion

Is knitting really a passion? On THIS blog it is - for all who come here. Blog entries will be made up of patterns, photos of in-progress or completed work - off the wall discussions about whatever tickles the author's fancy (Survivor Knitting anyone?). This can be as much YOUR blog as it is the current author's. Questions will be entertained and answers sought diligently. Comments are always welcome - and information ALWAYS appreciated. Will there be stories and pictures of the stash of yarn or the duplicated knitting needles? Will there be more off the wall ideas for knitting? Will there be original patterns or freebies cited? Only the dark of night and the author's amount of caffeine or sleep can determine that.

Ready? ONE - TWO - GET SET - KNIT!
