Still in countdown mode?????

Above you (sort of) see the 6 hats recently completed for the grands. Yes, I have 7 grands . . . the girl asked for a felted bag - it, too, is completed.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh - now what?

Now I am working on daughter #2’s gift and should have it finished tonight - if I get off here and get out there and to work. If not tonight, then tomorrow should see it completed. Yay!

Then it is on to daughter #1’s gift. I am working my way through my stash of yarn - sort of an early spring cleaning. Have you all done that at one time or another? Yeah, I thought so. We tend to collect beautiful yarns until we can’t see over the top of them - and, then . . . knit or crochet like mad until we NEED to go and buy some more.

Why, yes, it is TOO a need! ;)


In other news. . . I am giving up my other 451 Press blog - diabetes health talk. It has been awhile since I have been able to post there and, I know that is not going to change anytime soon. So, I emailed a resignation which has been accepted - and I am now going to try to concentrate on content for this blog. I know that you, my faithful 3 readers, will appreciate that.

Is knitting really a passion? On THIS blog it is - for all who come here. Blog entries will be made up of patterns, photos of in-progress or completed work - off the wall discussions about whatever tickles the author's fancy (Survivor Knitting anyone?). This can be as much YOUR blog as it is the current author's. Questions will be entertained and answers sought diligently. Comments are always welcome - and information ALWAYS appreciated. Will there be stories and pictures of the stash of yarn or the duplicated knitting needles? Will there be more off the wall ideas for knitting? Will there be original patterns or freebies cited? Only the dark of night and the author's amount of caffeine or sleep can determine that.
